The 2010 ASUO Student Gov. Elections begin February 12th

February 8, 2010 – Eugene, OR

The Associated Students of the University of Oregon’s (ASUO) 2010 Elections Board is currently planning the Student Government Elections. The University of Oregon is one of the few public colleges in the nation that allows the student body government to decide how funds will be allocated to various campus groups. For students who want to get involved, meet people, and make a difference on campus, the ASUO is a leading resource.

The 2010 Elections season kicks off NOW, starting with two informational sessions:

  • Friday, February 12th from 12:30-2:30pm in the Ben Linder room of the Erb Memorial Union (EMU)
  • Monday, February 22nd from 6-9pm in the Ben Linder room of the EMU

The meetings include Q & A from current ASUO Executives, Senators, and Committee members; this is an opportunity for interested students to get acquainted with the positions and Elections process in order to run for Student Government.

The remainder of the 2010 Elections Calendar is finalized and attached. Dates are subject to change at the discretion of the Elections Board.
